Decklid / Trunk Lid Prop Rod for 1969/1970 Mustang. Our steel prop rod is zinc plated for years of service. We include the storage clip and the retaining clip for a quick and complete installation. This part was not installed on all vehicles, however if the assembly line worker noticed that the trunk lid would not stay open (usually due to the weight of the spoiler on Boss and Mach 1 cars) this piece was added. If you have original end caps, check for a small hole where this piece would have been mounted.Made in the USA
